  1. India reported less than 20,000 new COVID-19 cases (19,740) in the last 24 hours, seven per cent lower than yesterday's figure when the country recorded 21,257 cases. The country also reported 248 deaths due to coronavirus.

  10. Three units of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will receive the prestigious Chief of Air Staff Unit citation on the 89th foundation day of the force. The 47 Squadron, 116 Helicopter Unit and 2255 Squadron will receive the prestigious citation, the IAF announced.
